ORVI is a social app where your account is a crypto wallet. There is no email address, no password and no sign-up form. You connect a Solana wallet, pick a name, and you are in. Post memes, photos and video, follow people, comment, earn XP, and climb the leaderboard.
Anyone can read without an account. Open the feed or explore what is trending and see for yourself first.
Plenty of crypto apps add a social tab. ORVI is the other way round: it is a social app first, and the chain is what signs you in and moves the money. Signing in is a message your wallet signs. It costs no gas, it moves nothing, and it proves the account is yours without anybody holding a password for you.
Because the wallet is the account, nobody can quietly take your name or lock you out of your own posts. A Solana name like yourname.skr can be used as your username, and only the wallet that actually owns that name on chain is allowed to use it.
- Text, a picture, a set of pictures, or video. Stories disappear after a day.
- Posting, commenting and showing up daily all count, and your streak carries over.
- A tip goes to the person who made the post, on chain, minus a small platform fee. SKR token tips work too. Tipping is in the Android app today.
- XP ranks everybody, and the top of the board is public.
- Bronze through Mythic. A higher tier raises your daily limits and your XP rate. It is optional.
- Rooms for the community, in the Android app. Not on the website yet.
Two reasons, and neither of them is the word blockchain. The first is that paying someone for a good post should take one tap and reach them in a second, anywhere in the world, with no card and no bank. On Solana it does. The second is that an account tied to a wallet is an account you own. If the app disappeared tomorrow, your wallet, your name and your on-chain passes would still be yours.
ORVI is free on Android. The app has everything the website has, plus tipping, group chat and the tier mint.
- ORVI is a Web3 social app on the Solana blockchain. You sign in with a crypto wallet instead of an email address, then post memes, pictures and video, comment, and earn XP for taking part. There is a free Android app and this website.
- You need one to post, comment or like. You do not need one to read: anybody can browse the feed, open a profile and read comments without signing in or creating anything.
- Any wallet that supports the Solana wallet standard. Phantom and Solflare are the common ones, and on an Android phone the wallet app on that same phone can sign in directly through Mobile Wallet Adapter.
- Yes. Reading, posting and commenting cost nothing, and the Android app is a free download. Minting a tier pass is optional and raises your daily limits.
- XP is the score you build by posting, commenting and showing up daily. It sets your place on the leaderboard and it can be spent to unlock locked posts.
- Other members can tip your posts in SOL or in SKR, and most of a tip goes straight to the creator with a small platform fee. Tipping is in the Android app today.
- The Android app has group chat rooms. Chat has not been built into the website yet.
- Yes. MemeBook was renamed to ORVI. The accounts, posts and XP are the same, and old members keep everything they earned.
